Atahualpa - Pronounced “ATA - WOL - PAH”.
Atahualpa was the last of the Inca emperors.
Having been captured by the Spanish Conquistadors in 1532, Atahualpa refused to convert to Catholicism… and as a result he was sentenced to be burned at the stake as a heathen. In an effort to avoid this fate, Atahualpa offered his captors a vast hoard of Inca gold in exchange for his life.
Atahualpa’s followers set about amassing this magnificent ransom, but to no avail. The last Inca ruler was murdered by the Conquistadors in July of 1533… and the hoard of Atahualpa was never claimed.

As an esteemed explorer, archaeologist and bon vivant, you are rightly convinced that the lost hoard of Atahualpa should be found, brought back to Blighty and melted-down as soon as possible. This task should prove no challenge whatsoever to a well-heeled English aristocrat of high intellect and jolly good standing.
You will forgo the pleasures of the new English cricket season and instead travel to darkest Peru. There you will organise expeditions into the mountains, jungles and swamps of South America to search for Inca gold.
Your expeditions will travel along the trails once trodden by the Incas themselves and visit ancient Inca temples in pursuit of their precious relics.
You will gradually accumulate the knowledge you require to navigate a path to the fabled Seventh Temple. That is where you hope to find the forgotten golden hoard, hidden centuries ago by the faithful followers of Atahualpa.
You’ve heard dire warnings about some intemperate Inca gods. But you don’t believe in all that superstitious bunkum, humbug and hogwash. It’s just a load of foreign sounding mumbo-jumbo!
Your destiny awaits you. Pack up your trunk, hop on that steamship and remember your family motto… “YOU CAN NEVER BE TOO GREEDY”.
