That grizzled old forty-niner, “Coyote” George, is dead.
After twenty years of prospecting for gold in the dusty, scorpion infested hills… he finally turned up his heels, having sat upon a rattlesnake.
Before he died he stashed his gold nuggets in many different places throughout the desert… and drew up a map for each hidden hoard.
Since “Coyote” George’s untimely death, his maps have passed through countless unscrupulous hands, as treasure seekers hunt for his concealed riches… but as yet, no one has uncovered George’s largest stockpile of raw gold... his “Big Score”.
In these parts blood flows like a creek in the rainy season... and disputes over George’s maps are usually the cause. Many have ridden out onto that sun-scorched trail… and more than a few have never returned. But tales of murder and menace are not enough to deter those disparate folk with a dollar-green-eye… and you are one such person.
Saddle up hombre… for “Coyote” George’s fortune is calling you. But don’t think for one cotton-picking moment… that the desert will willingly surrender her secrets.
No way, Jose.

Travel through the desert from location tile to location tile with the intention of being the first to visit all ten. Use your maps to discover Coyote George’s hidden gold.
Fend off those strangers who would challenge you to a gunfight. Direct the posse towards your opponents and avoid the posse should YOU be the “Most Wanted” outlaw. Accumulate gold by any means possible. Try not to get yourself killed.
Attempt to be the player who finds “Coyote” George’s Big Score.
At the end of the game… the wealthiest player will be declared the winner.
The Gold of El Coyote is a rootin' tootin' wild west board game for 2 to 6 players.
