The Farmer and his precious eggs
You are a male fox; a reynard.
You must find yourself a suitable mate; the vixen.
You must also steal enough food for the two of you in the form
of hens’ eggs (which belong to the farmer).
The hunt may well pursue you and the rat might eat the eggs…
but these circumstances should pose no problem for a cunning
old fox like you.
