The class one asteroid harvester and mineral processing ship Leviathan is in a chaotic state. It is your job to restore organisation and cleanliness to the vessel without succumbing to malign alien influences and other unforeseen calamities.
Blue Nebula is a team game. The chances of survival are enhanced by collaborative behaviours. However, as in real life, it is entirely up to the individual how much co-operation and self-sacrifice is undertaken.
As events unfold there will be ample opportunity for greed, spite and self-interest.

Dear, valued Blue Nebula employee,
The deep space vessel Leviathan is a class one asteroid harvester and mineral processing ship. It carries a valuable cargo of precious ores and other sundry articles which have been acquired during its ongoing seven year operation.
Unfortunately contact with the ship’s crew was lost some time ago and remote scans indicate unidentified anomalies within the vessel.
It is believed the crew suffered some kind of unpleasant misfortune which has left the Leviathan drifting, non-operational and in chaos.
We at Blue Nebula Industries have won the contract to restore the Leviathan back to its ordered and functioning state.
You will be working within a squad of experienced janitorial operatives. Teamwork is essential because as everyone knows, there is no “a” in “team”. Your job will be to catalogue the cargo as well as tidy, decontaminate and repair the Leviathan where necessary… ready for a new crew to take over.
Blue Nebula Industries will stay in touch from our head office in Beijing. We will assist you where we can by remotely scanning the Leviathan and guiding you via on board beacons.
You have been issued with a teleport bracelet. Try to use your bracelet only in an emergency (not that we think anything bad, tragic or upsetting will happen to you) as the ship’s teleport system is defective and bracelet use will deplete the Leviathan’s power supply. A fine will be incurred by operatives who use their teleport bracelet unnecessarily. However, you may use the ship’s Teleport Hub without charge.
You will be paid directly into your company account for good work… but deductions will be made for incompetence, laziness and unwarranted swearing (see section 3264, paragraph 51b of your Blue Nebula contract).
Please note… the Leviathan’s Gravity Modulator has malfunctioned, causing intermittent periods of excessive gravity… thus doubling a person’s weight and potentially hindering normal actions and movement. All operatives should bear this in mind when using the toilet.
Once you have successfully gained full operational control of the Leviathan, a Blue Nebula shuttle will be sent to bring you back home to mother Earth. Following your departure, all of the Leviathan’s corridors will be remotely sterilised, vaporising any remaining organic lifeforms… so please don’t miss the shuttle.
Good luck to you all… and remember… a clean ship is a dream ship… a neat ship is a sweet ship… and a tidy ship is a Friday ship (that last one doesn’t really work).
