Fish, penguins and a whale.

In 1908, during an expedition to Antarctica, Ernest Shackleton happened upon an icy inlet. He named this cove the Bay of Whales. It was the southernmost body of ocean water in the world and was home to a variety of wildlife including penguins and (of course) whales.

But the Bay of Whales exists no more… for in 1987 a vast 99 mile long iceberg broke away from the Ross Ice Shelf… eradicating the bay forever.

You are in charge of a group of penguins!

It will be your mission to guide your penguins through the freezing waters of Antarctica to the safe haven of the Bay of Whales.

As every penguin knows… whales are kindly, lumbering friends who will provide safe passage to a travelling aquatic flightless bird. Follow in their considerable wake to achieve your journey’s end.

But perils lurk in the dark, unforgiving waters. So be wary of the voracious Orca who can devour a cluster of penguins in a single, merciless mouthful.

If you deliver your entire group of penguins to the Bay of Whales before anyone else delivers theirs… you will be victorious.

Bay of Whales is an Antarctic themed board game for 2 to 6 fish swallowing, orca dodging, per-per-per-penguin devotees.
